Default Can I install CDV on AP1?

Hey Guys i have a '01 comptech supercharged s2k with a stage 3 clutch, 4.44:1 gears which i just had installed after i blew my rear end after 85000 miles : ( My question is, To avoid further hurting my brand new gears, can i install a Clutch Delay Valve From and AP2 into my AP1? i am aware of how it will negatively affect the performance, but at this point i think that would be the best bet. thanks.

Being aware that clutch drops are bad for your diff, I'd just moderate your launches/hard driving, instead of installing a device designed for the people that didn't know any better.

Yeah that is a very good point, and i have pretty much mastered the art of dealing with the very hard and fast gripping clutch. My wife on the other hand does drive the car from time to time and the clutch engages soooo quickly and so hard its hard for her drive. i thought the CDV might help with that as well.

You need the entire AP2 slave cyl to get the CDV. It should be a direct replacement since the AP2 can use the AP1 slave cyl.

The CDV won't actually fit in an AP1 slave cyl.

You could ask your brain to install a CDV-left-leg.
Same thing, much cheaper.

Rather than install a CDV, just get a less aggressive clutch.

If you're supercharged with an aggressive clutch... differentials and axles are just a part of your future.
