Meh... I built one and played with it but ended up leaving it off. I pulled and logged voltage on startup several times and couldn't get the sim to reproduce the effect. It is a huge pita since the motor has to be 100% cold for the pump to cut on and the bumper has to be off.
One of the vendors keeps saying they figured it out, but I haven't seen anybody get a working unit.

I think the issue you have, and what the guys at GTMotoring have figured out, is that it's easy to simulate the pump's current flow; a resistor works for that. What's really difficult is simulating the pump flow as detected by the O2 sensors. I am not sure if the ECU looks at one or both sensors, but it is clear that is the only way it can detect airflow. Logging the data is easy, emulating it is not so much. I tried emulating it with some simple circuitry (relay and voltage divider to set the voltage) and it didn't work. I think it actually looks for the characteristic ramp as demonstrated by the cat warming up.
I am pretty sure it doesn't just look for the primary O2 to go lean, because that's easy to emulate, and it didn't work for me. I think it's looking at both or maybe just the rear sensor.
What I can tell you for sure is that there is no way in hell the emulator described in this thread or the one originally built by GT Motoring will work in any way shape or form in a USDM vehicle.

Ok, so it seems like the ECU is looking for 3 things:
initial current spike
constant (or varying/increasing/decreasing) current draw while the motor is running
AFR lean on the 02 sensor
The first can be done with a simple timed switch - initial load would only be for a few seconds, a thermistor (of the appropriate value/timing) could be used to switch from the initial voltage drop to the constant voltage.
To simulate the constant voltage, we need to know if it's constant, varying, increasing, or decreasing. Once we know that, we can use a rheostat to simulate the voltage change, timed for, say, 30sec - 1min.
The 02 sensor at lean is easy enough to replicate - simply switch between an 02 sensor not in the exhaust and the primary 02 (or wideband) sensor...
But, that's just my take...I still haven't had time to really sit down and figure out what the system is looking for.

also there is air flow sensor also that will trip if not working correctly,
I went and found air pumps and the ther parts to get working right
Gt motoring is still working on a computer fix for the US version of the car
