2. Does this make it possible to remove the air pump completely and avoid the CEL?

so with this you can completly remove the air pump and avoid having a cell?

can anybody verify whether this will actually pass emissions? obviously it eliminates the CEL, which takes care of that portion of emissions exams, but doesn't the ECM continuously check for live data from the pump on startup?
