Default Can anyone shed light on my problem?

Alright so been trying to find out the problem with my s2000 and just cant seem to figure out what it is. To make a long story short wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary was at the top of 3rd gear at 8900 rpms smooth shifted into 4th kept going. then once i let off i started to a loud ticking noise. almost sounded like really bad valve tap or possibly a spun rod bearing.
Heres a video of what it sounded like:

Tests i have done:
-Check the oil, was perfect
-Changed the TCT brand new from honda
-Compression test, came out 200 each cylinder
-Check the valve lash, none of the valves were out of adjustment... 3 exhaust valves were a tiny bit tight nothing crazy
-Car was dead on timed
-Pulled the oil pan found some metal shaving in the pan but ARE NOT the color of a bearing.
-Every rod is perfect, they have no play in them at all
-Cylinder walls looks great no scoring or anything

SOOOooo, brings me to my question what else could it possibly be? could the oil pump have gone bad ? Gears chewed up?

Any help would be great !

Can you pinpoint exactly where the sound is coming from? From the video, it sounds like it's from the head. Have you looked at anything else in the head? That doesn't sound like TCT to me. Too loud. I'm thinking a lifter issue.

Spun bearing.

I'd check your rod bearings, again.

maybe a damaged oil pump that also killed some rod bearings.

sounds like valves came loose. did you set each clyinder TDC before you check the valve gap? check your retainers and the valve springs height. I had that similiar noise when I adjusted my valves all at once and only set cylinder 1 at TDC.

That engine sounds bad to be a simple valvetrain issue.

Broken retainers dont make noise.

Thats not a valve noise, you have a spun bearing or a damaged cylinder, guaranteed.
