Default Camwheel bolt tightening DIY

There is some info on this, but not an actual DIY. Billman recommends checking and tightening this bolt to 36 lb-ft. But I saw somewhere that it's recommended to take out the TCT.

Is there a DIY that I am missing?

You are talking about 2 different things. On the cam bolt tightening you just put a hex head socket on a torque wrench and make sure the bolt is on at 36 ft lbs. If it is leaking then you do as the link above suggests. The TCT replacement is a totally different matter which you do if yours becomes noisy.
