No....you can't go by the mark on the crank pulley. You're in time... the idler gear isn't lined up perfectly level with the head, therefore your cam gears aren't exactly in line. But by looking at your pics I can tell you 100% that you are in time and just fine.

Agreed, timing is right on via third pic.

Scond pic cannot be used as angle is off.
