^ what section and what would it be labeled under. I live a mile from a home depot and a lowes but rarely use them for "hardware" type items.

I compressed my old TCT without a bolt. I just put the cylinder facing down on a hard surface (workbench) and applied much pressure to the top of the unit while rotating it. (Forget which way I turned it) I used a piece of a paper clip as well for the holding pin.

Took about 15 min, and a few tries.

Wow. I popped it out today and the pieces went in a few directions. I will probably purchase a new one for piece of mind although this one seemed to be working perfectly.

any problems it you don't compress the TCT when removing?

I never compress when removing. waste of time. No reason to.
