Default Calling all F20C engine gurus

Would really appreciate your thoughts guys. Engine has only done 6000miles. Is running ITB's with AEM ECU. Recently mapped. Whilst doing a test drive I noticed the engine suddenly started to misfire like it was running on 3 cylinders and had to keep my foot on the accelerator to prevent the engine cutting out. Turned off engine then restarted, fault still present. Drove the car 100meters upto 3000rpm then fault cleared. Since then I tried to start the car again and now running like on 3 cylinders again. There may be an ignition fault which I think is unrelated. Fitted new plugs NGK: IFR7G-11KS. New Denso coil pack ordered to aid diagnosis. Cylinder number 3 no pressure. No obvious damage or sound. Oil and water fine. I suspect a valve related problem??? Any help much appreciated. Video below refers.

Do you have a leak down tester? That might get some more info.
Btw I've seen and heard this car in person and it's an amazing build

Pull the valve cover. Check the valve lash. Turn the engine over and see if valves articulate on #3. My first thoughts are you have holed a piston. On my turbo charged Element a few years ago I had the same problem. Was in Vegas and ended up driving to Denver. on 3. thanks to the turbo I could easily hit 80. Drove around for three months then tore down the engine and found a hole in piston #3. Small but kept the pressure from building.. Good luck.

Many thanks for our input guys. VC off and nothing obvious found:

So now decided to remove the engine for a complete strip down.
It's turning out to be a major mission just to get the engine out, having to cut up parts of the chassis and disassembling far more than I should have to, in order to get clearance. All the front chassis bracing, air-ducting and oil cooler parts have to come out in one, so much head scratching to find the best solution required. Still it gives an opportuning to redesign everything that has been disassembled so that it will be far easier in future. This picture also highlights just how far back in the engine bay the engine sits; like a front mid-mounted config: No.1 cylinder is basically inline with the front axle:

Is there an engine overhaul service manual anywhere here? Before I start to split the engine, I would just like to have a quick read.

You definitely don't need to cut anything to get the engine out if you do it according to the service manual. The Service Manual is pretty cheap to buy and has a plethora of good information. I purchased mine to have the PDF, but you can find it on Manualslib.com: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/46...?page=2#manual

That link is for an AP1... if you need an AP2, a quick Google search will find it easily.

Note an X brace (red) has been welded in right in front of the block. I wonder if that or other mods might be the cause for issues.
