Default CAD drawing or measurements for S2000 oil pan?

I have a year 2000 s2000 engine that I need to build a new dry sump oil pan for.
It needs to be build to my specifications so I cannot buy a fabricated product.

Is there any way I can find the measurements for a stock OEM oil pan somewhere?
Then I can use the measurements to have the part where the gasket goes laser cut in 10mm aluminum.
Another idea is to buy a gasket and use the measurements into a CAD software but that will not be so exakt.

Your best bet is to buy a used pan and use that for reference.

BTW, there is no preformed gasket on our pans; its a bead of sealant we run across the mating surface.

Canton Racing is building us a real baffled oil pan (a first for our car), and as such they had to take measurements and such. I don't know how they did everything, but they are building a new cast pan out of steel and Al if preferred.

Perhaps if you contact them they can help you out. Point you in the right direction....sell you some drawings, who knows?

Thanks your sharing your ideas. So there is no oem gasket?

The motor is in the car so then I will try to use 2-3 thin A4 papers and do a copy of the pan flange.
That I can scan in a A3 copier and then get into a CAD software.

Hi
If you draw it up I can share the cost with you.
I need to look more into this during the week.

I've purchased a pan local and will likely just modify it for my intended purpose rather than spend the time drawing it up.

i'm lazy like that. sorry.

I just did the same thing.

Do you also run with a dry sump?

I am building something like this. (not my engine)
