A/C compressor not turning on

Quick background information:
1) A/C was working perfectly fine, blowing ice cold
2) Pulled head off, built it, reinstalled head
3) Went for a drive, turned A/C on, blows warm
5) Had the system recharged, unsuccessful (still blows warm)
6) High side pressure relief valve had strong "hissing"
7) Line to the compressor intact
Anything to check for? Having a hard time believing that my compressor just went bad in a matter of days from just sitting there. Was working really well and poof. Any other lines that mightve came loose? Thanks

It was the A/C clutch's connector that was the issue. At initial glance, it was connected, so I thought nothing of it. As I was trying to change out my compressor, I noticed the connector was DE-PINNED. Re-pinned. Recharged the system. Done.
