If you are able to jump the compressor relay 1 & 2 and the clutch and AC work what does that mean? EVerything works fine. I tested the relay itself and it checks out as well. Could a bad pressure switch cause the signal to not activate the compressor relay? I did check the pressure switch and it passed. I also checked the #4 terminal to ground for 12v and didnt get anything. Its said to check NO 20 fuse which I did and its fine. It allows power to heater control and other stuff which works.

Everything works heat, blowers and controls and even both fans but the AC clutch will not activate unless I jump 1&2. Could I then have to high or low of pressure? Is there a way to test without guages?

Thanks in advance.

I have not had a chance to put gauges on the HVAC yet but if you have the same issue as me (you have tested everything) then you more than likely have low pressure in the system so you need more freon and may have a slow leak. I have to pull my transmission for other work so it may be a bit before I report back but I will.

You could also have a clogged drier, or dirty clogged condenser. I don't think these dryers are meant to last 10+ years, so I would change them ~5-7 years. Yeah A/C work is costly, but it's a small price to pay considering what it does, plus driers are cheap in and of themselves, and they're the only thing keeping moisture in check. Once that drier no longer does it's job moisture can mix freely with the compressor oil and refrigerant, where it becomes an acid and starts eating the system from the inside out. First symptoms is clogging and the A/C not really working too well, another usual symptom is that the high pressure line will become prone to leaks. Another typical symptom is that removing the high pressure line from the compressor to the condenser will become...difficult.

Hey, where did you find a field coil for the S2000? I Google'd but only this thread came up in regards to S2000.
Is it a universal part?

The thermal protection circuit was 38908-PCX-006.

You can find part numbers for other parts here:
