Default Buzzing from rear end

I just had the 4.44 gear installed and 2nd gear grind fixed. I picked up my car and noticed a buzzing from the rear of the car. Its present at idle and gets louder when you give it some gas....even if the car is not moving. I was told it was the heatsheild on the exhaust, but that didn't seem loose. Any other suggestions? Is this just the gear breaking in? Oh, BTW I also has the clutch done (since they were in there anyway)
thanks.

how intense is the buzzing?
you hear it all the time?
if you hear it @ idle i don't think it would be the rear diff. since it would need to be in motion to create any kind of "gear whine".
perhaps the new clutch breaking in?

If the car isn't moving, the rear gears won't turn, thus no noise. It can still be a vibration noise from the exhaust system. It may not even be coming from the rear at all. Since it buzzes when you rev it and you aren't even moving, have someone else rev it while you get down and dirty to have a real good listen. It could be your new clutch. Clutch in or out? In and in gear, you can eliminate the bulk of the tranny.
Can you even be sure if it is coming from "outside" of the car. Maybe it's something on the "inside" (even the trunk - spare?)

heatshield over the cat and cracks in the exhaust welds would be my first guesses
