I used a large peice of Dynomat and covered the entire fuel pump cover.

I don't see where you noted a Walbro or other fuel pump. Sometimes, as noted on this thread it can be a bitch to source a rattle. That said and having been on the board for awhile have you checked the number 1 source of rear cabin rattle?

Spare tire wing nut frequently sounds like it's behind the driver and come loose when it cools down.......
