Default Buzz from gas tank top

The rear of my AP1 has a gutted interior where the back of the car is exposed. The cover for the gas tank (not the gas filler cap outside the car) has a slight buzz at certain RPM. I think it is only held on by 3 screws. Has anyone dealt with this? Looking for a solution.

Thanks for any help...

happened to me when I swapped fuel pumps. you can mess with it by tightening or loosening the 3 screws that hold the cover on or you can cover the whole thing with dynamat. i decided to use some foam weatherstrips and lined the cover where it contacts the body. it's a bit tricky tho.

unscrew the lid thing, put a few small pieces of dynamat down, and screw the lid down on top of the dynamat

took me FOREVER to find that buzz.

Maybe some silicone goo would work to dampen the buzz.
