Buying test pipe
Ok, I am buying a T1R test pipe and I am trying to decide what method or path would be best to handle the sensor. Both of my o2 sensors are bad and with the test pipe installed I was thinking of buying the o2 simulator from Wiredspeed and just leaving the bad one in. But then I saw the mechanical simulator and the lack of wiring (Im not scared to do wiring tho) makes it seem an easier/ less troublesome route to take. However I'm sure if I do the mechanical simulator I will need to replace the busted o2 sensor in the cat to use right? Also with the electrical o2 simulator would I still be required to replace the sensor at the header??
Oh, one other thing... with the electrical sim will it bel necessary to replace the busted sensor at the cat?

If both your sensors are bad, you will want to replace at least one (I presume there's a pre-cat sensor in the header?). Then just go with either 1) the o2 sim for the post-cat sensor, or 2) a new sensor + plug spacers.

Ok, I know Ive had a post that corresponds with this subject. But as far as replacing the primary sensor should I be picky about which one I select to use? I know theres the Bosch Universal, Honda Oem (which is overly priced), the Civic O2 sensor (with rewiring) and NGK among a few others. Or will I be fine with any of those for the most part? Thanks for the information!!!

I have always heard the "go with bosch" line, but I've never replaced a dead o2 sensor myself.
If I were you, I'd replace both sensors, and run the plug anti-foul extension on the post-cat (in your case, post-testpipe) sensor... if you still get a cel, roll with the anti-foul adapters on the pre-cat sensor too.
O2 sims are great, but wire hacking is not, especially into the factory harness.
