Buying an S2000
Went to buy an S2000 at the weekend, 2002 - GT, 33k mls, lovely genuine car. Only thing I was concerned with was when I checked the engine it seemed a small bit creamy, when I took dipstick out it had a bit of creamy color oil on it as well. Car has being garaged the last year and driven very little. Owner says he only drives it in and out of garage for the last 3 to 4 months. Last oil change was september. Would this be due to little driving? How would I know? Not sure about car now?
Just a bit concerned about this before buying, so any help would be grateful, as soon as possibe.
Cheers,

His driving habits would indicate moisture and fuel in the oil. Change the oil with a 10W-30 conventional oil and PCX-004 filter, then drive the car for a short OCI. Then change the oil and filter again with whatever 10W-30 oil you choose. The previous owner did not do you any favors by not driving the car the last few months.

Nothing wrong with the car. Obviously, from sitting there and only having very short driving trips, the oil has collected moisture. I see this all the time working at a dealership with our elderly customers who rarely drive their vehicles. Just change the oil, and you'll be fine.
