Looks like the valet switch for dealer installed security. Check under the drivers seat for the control unit.

All this guessing is great but it could be anything. Trace the wires. Then you'll know. I have 2 similar buttons. Anyone care to "guess" what they might do?

It is the valet switch for the OEM alarm system. I know this because I got one from Honda.

A little button with an alarm is a valet button. It allows the alarm to be put in valet mode, so the valet guy does not set off the alarm. It is not to kill the alarm.
What I meant - Sorry I didnt type it better...

When I had my 2000 Prelude SH I bought a stock alarm from Handa. I installed it myself and my button looked exactly like the one you are showing here. On the Prelude it was a cutoff switch for the Alarm. If you opened the door when the alarm was set, or tripped it without the keyless fob the only way to shut off the alarm was to put the key in and press this button. Of course on the prelude it was not visible with the steering wheel tilted all of the way down. I forgot about it after a couple of years and it was a bitch to find it when I had an issue and the alarm was sounding and wouldn't go off with the keyfob or with the key in... then I remembered that button and tilted the wheel down and Voila, the alarm stopped

Yeah I had a botton like that on my other car. It was if the key fob ran out of batteries and you had to open the door with the key, which would obviously make the alarm go off. So you insert the key and turn it to the ON position then press that button and it turns off the alarm. It won't work without turning the key.
