Leakdown test will show where the problem is. Im guessing worn rings.

s2cho, when are you checking the oil before filling up? If its right after you stop you might be overfilling your crankcase.. I also noticed keeping your oil level at 3/4 helps a lot for burning oil. If you always keep it topped off, it burns off quicker

Leakdown test won't always show. You could have leaking rings and it still come back with a good leakdown test but definitely a good thing to check regardless.

^that would mean you're checking while its hot. Try checking it in the morning, before you start the car. I've noticed its the most consistent.. how is the oil pan condition? dirty? or can you still see aluminum (clean). My 01 doesnt have any oil stains save for right under the oil filter (during oil changes). any oil leakage around the valve cover?

No oil stains but some oil from when one of my motor mounts cracked, and when i changed the oil. Spilled a bit lol.

So no new stains. So i dont think its leaking at at ):

And ill check the oil in the morning from now on!
