was the pedal all the way down?
how many cranks?
if you think your ring is not sealing up, try to put a tea spoon of oil into the sparkplug slot and see if you could get some more compression.
it shouldn't happen unless you have a near-hydrolcok situation

i would recommend to do a leakdown test... and if really are riding it hard is gonna consume more oil... i mean S2000 's are known for their oil consumption...
very useful to know!
