Thumbs up Burning lots of oil! Dry/wet compression results inside.

I have been burning lots of oil recently. Used to be around 1/4 quart every 1k miles or so. Over the past month about it jumped to about 2 quarts every 1k miles. My car has also been smoking a lot! Full throttle, in traffic, cruising, idling etc.

Anyways I did a compression test today followed by a wet compression test (little oil in each cylinder)

My engine has 151k miles on it. I have been supercharged the last 30k miles or so. Now at 406whp.

So I am guessing that would be the rings since they went way up with the wet test.

Below are the results.

First are the dry numbers.

213
205
213
215

Wet numbers are as follows.

227
227
225
227

So I guess all rings are worn especial number 2 there.

A couple of months ago they would all show 225-227 across the board dry.

2001 ap1 compression specs:
minimum is 134 psi
maximum variation bewteen cylinders is 29 psi
nominal is 227 psi.

From the looks from adding oil to each cylinder helped. Therefore, your piston rings or cylinder bores are worn on all four cylinders.

You can try using thicker oil, might help. GL

Say what? Where are those numbers from? 27 psi difference between cylinders is a big difference. 134 psi, unless just a very low reading tester would be from something damaged in there.
Abyways I know there is obviously something wring with my engine. I'm assuming rings are shot.

Your car is a 2001 right? I got that right out from Alldata. It's a trusted source. Yes your rings or cylinder bores are no good.

Ah ok. Dont know how those would be acceptable numbers lol. But anyways it's definitely not ok for my car even if numbers are within spec as it billows out smoke lol.

it's the manufacturer's specs/engineering, complain to them.

Yeah I used to have 227 across the board pretty much but recently changed especially in cylinder 2. Recently started chugging oil too.

When intake manifold was off cylinder 3 I could see oil dripping down the valve stem.
