You're thinking short block. He was talking about sleeves. That means a bare block. The bare blocks themselves are identical.

Not according to what woodwork said at Mega meet...the actual bare block has been tweeked and modified for MY04+

Any ideas what's different? When I saw them, I didnt notice one single thing different. Maybe I should've examined and compared them in more detail.

I remember him mentioning something specifc but I can't recall exactly what it was. That was back in august maybe someone else can remember?

My best advice is to stick to something that has been done. Unless you have really deep pockets to try something new.. 2.0 all the way.. Then think about the drive train it wont hold up..

I definatley wanna beef up the drivetrain but thats way later.I dont launch the car and I dont race of 1st so i think I ll be ok...besides the drive train should nt be holding the 400+ rwhp that I have now.The way I look at it is if I am going to spend money on rebuilding and resleeving I mighest well look into a bigger displacement.I got to talk to joe alaniz and go from there he offers a bigger displacement high boost engine rebuild.
