Default Building up my garage..

Hey guys, this weekend I cleaned out my garage and bought some tools. I bought the tools needed to change my differential fluid and oil, according to the DIY threads in the FAQ section. So far I have..

a 2 ton jack.
two jack stands.
a basic 96 piece tool set from Sears.
all of my detailing stuff.. leather cleaner, wax, wheel cleaner, etc.
oil pan, oil funnels, oil filter wrench and some oil-dri.

Any other suggestions on what I should get? Fluids, tools, misc. stuff? I want to be able to do the basic stuff on my car like intake, front lip, 04 headlight, stereo installation, etc. Thanks in advance.

I am not sure if your tool kit included these or not, but some electrical equipment is always helpful to have. I would say a multi-meter, wire crimper/stripper, and a wire cutter. Some ramps would be good too if you can fine some that will clear the front bumper...makes changing the oil on cars much quicker than using a jack. Oh yeah, always have a healthy supply of shop towels/shop paper towels.

Does your tool set include a 23mm wrench? I find most tool sets don't come with wrenches that big. I ended up having to buy a separate 23mm wrench just for the differential fill plug.

The black plastic Rhino ramps at Wal-Mart clear some bumpers, soo two ramps and you already have the two jack stands make fluid changes quick.
