I don't believe anyone is saying these things can't be done, but the cost and the probable failure rate are prohibitive.

I noticed that he mentioned replacing the rotors in the charger with carbon fibre. Neat - I bet that alone let that blower bump out a good 'nother 5-10 psi alone.

5 years ago, someone would have asked the same question about a 9000 rpm 2l engine with a 240 hp output...
