Default Buddy club coilovers damper adjustment knob

Hey guys, was adjusting my buddy club coilovers after installation and then this happened. The adjustable knob came off. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Also, after installation, the stabilizer nut which connects to the lower arm hits the shock. What's going on?

^ Is that the linkage coming from your front swaybar? If so, then that is definitely not stock. The problem in this case is the bar and/or it's linkage, not the suspension.

Aftermarket sway bars that have adjustment holes like your Saner bar, is a common issue. i see you have a spacer in between the end link and bar, remove that and put a washer in its place or opt to use a bolt that has a smaller head and not a hex cap type.
Another suggestion is making your own end links utilizing ones that has a captive end. do a little research and im sure youll find plenty of threads about this. it should give you more clearance. as for the adjustment know that seems to be a defect. i would contact the vendor and inform them.

one more thing, im pretty sure i saw a thread about someone using helicoil on their saner bar so that they can run shorter bolts.

Gentlemen, thanks for your help. I bought the car used and didn't know there was an aftermarket front sway bar.

What advantage do I get with it? I will try and find a smaller linkage assembly.

I've removed the linkage. The ball bearings are quite shiny compared to the other side and there is a little bit of play.

Would I need to replace the linkage? Looking to see if I can find a washer.

Just an update, in case someone has this issue in the future.

I ended up attaching the linkage assembly to the second hole, closer to the end of the sway bar. This gives me more than enough clearance between the linkage and the suspension.

Changing to that hole also changed the handling. You made the sway bar "softer". Be careful when doing any aggressive driving because your car is not going to behave in the way you are accustomed to.
