Default broken windsheild

Does anyone know what a windshield will cost me? Mine was broken by a flying piece of rubber a truck left behind.

Depends, but it's about $300-$400. It will depend on if you're paying straight up or if it's sold at a discount for your insurance company.

The front windshield will cost you $378.75/list and $284.06/dealer cost. You will need several other parts as well.

Check out http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/home.htm for more details.

Is stonguard 100% transparent? has anyone thought of putting it on a windshield? I know about the thermal expansion problems, but that was in Arizona, we don't have weather like that out here.

I just had mine replaced at dealer. $499 for windshield+some rubber crap that needed to be replaced , $143 for installation. I have to admit, they did a very good job. I examined it very carefully and could not find any trace of glue from inside.
