Good outcome. Hard to understand why the darn thing came apart. Consider ordering oem at one of the discount honda parts places.
Or off Amazon?

Order an OEM cap ASAP. The gasket on that cap is trash.

That cap is fine until Part No. 15610-PCX-A01 arrives on Tuesday from Amazon ($14.57) if you order it tonight.
