What a perfect cut!
Looks like you have a crack first and slowly got shear off (maybe the force from your engine- loose engine mount).
It doesn't look like a lot of welding at the crack from this photo!
Good luck!

WOOOHOOO!
The issue has been resolved. Clayton and the guys from King were willing to supply me with a header from their SEMA project car despite the fact that the warranty on my header had expired.
It is customer service like this that sets King Motorsports apart from the rest.
Once again, BIG thanks to King.

They better give you a new one.

You might want to verify that the rest of your exhaust is mounted/supported properly. The way that the portion connected to the cat is hanging there leads me to believe that there is something not aligned properly. When I was installing my Toda header, I noticed that the cat would sit in the exact same place whether the header was installed or not. In your picture, it looks like the header had been holding the cat up, and when the header broke, the cat is now drooping. If the header is actually holding up the cat, that means that there is extra stress on the header that probably shouldn't be there. That could be the cause of your failure.
Glad to hear that King is replacing it, though.
