Broken front subframe bolt- easiest way to remove?

As a machinist/fabricator, I have learned to sharpen drill bits by hand on a bench grinder with no guide.
A drill bit can be sharpened all the way to the end of the flutes.
Maybe someday you'll mail me a bunch of bits and I'll return them to you like new

I have a Harbor Freight near me, so I have an endless supply of sharp bits for less than I would spend sharpening them. Unless it's a cheap machine and does them in seconds...
I FINALLY GOT THE BOLT OUT. I was absolutely shocked. Took forever, but once I bought some new bits it went fast. Had I started with all new ones and stepped them 1/32" or so from the pilot hole, I would have been done quickly.
I couldn't drill out all the bolt, but I got all of it past the 20mm or so of threads in the frame. The rest of it just fell inside the rail somewhere.
I got the pilot centered but drilling centered was tough, and by the end the hole had wandered some. I managed to get enough out that the tap cleaned it up like magic. I was shocked but the hole was perfectly threaded afterwards, no missing threads, and the bolt torqued great.

I think I mentioned this already but it went a lot faster with new bits. I'd expect this, aside from pulling the motor, to go much faster, maybe 10 or 15 minutes of drilling, with new bits.
I don't see how this can be done w/the subframe in the car... it might be, with extra long bits and an extra long tap, but then you still can't see what you're doing well at all and you may damage the threads.
