Default broke a wheel stud

I broke my passenger front wheel stud off today. I was ti.ghtening it and it broke on Me. Is it okay to drive with one broken and 4 good ones for a little till I order a new stud to get it fixed? would it cause and damages? Anything I should look out for? Could be about a week until I could fix it. I'm actually very worried about the wheel falling off. Its also my dd

Only 3 studs holding one wheel on. Is it okay to drive about 90 miles on it.

Personally I wouldn't risk it.

They both broke tighting it? I could understand if you were removing but tightening? You are tightening your wheels waaaay too much. Maybe get a torque wrench and set it to around 90 lbs. Lugs get pretty tight, but with a long breaker bar you really dont need to kill it. if you have a small ratchet then maybe you could use a bit more power.

I used the tool that came with the car. I was putting my weight to it and it broke to less pressure I put usually when i'm doing it. The studs were not out as far as stock ones. Do I need hub centric rings? I don't understand how it broke. Just When I get my rims that I always wanted and new tires, I break the wheel studs.

I dont know about hubcentric rings. However I would reccomend you just change all of them since 2 broke. It cant hurt. I dont know what its like changing studs on these cars I never done it. Sometimes its as easy as a tap of a hammer and some pb blast sometimes you need to take the whole hub apart and its a real PITA since you need to remove the bearings. I am sure someone will let you know. Putting a SMALL amount of grease or silicone paste on them will help prevent breaking upon removal.

3 studs is safe if they aren't directly next to each other, just keep the driving tame.
