Brakes vibrate only when hot !
Okay guys...
My brakes vibrates only when hot/working temp. under normal driving there are nothing wrong with them stops good no vibration
but once the brakes heats under sprint driving the brakes vibrates you can also feel it through the whole car not just the steering wheel.
this happened since i changed the pads to AP Dixcel Z pads from DS2500, discs are DBA 4000
but i have been told if the discs are wrapped it should vibrate all the time even normal driving...
so what should i do? resurface the discs? or else?
Thanks
Kev

i also notice one of the small screw is missing holding the discs to the hub will that cause this problem?

No that wont cause any problems, they are really only there for assembly. A decent amount of manufacturers dont use any kind of screw to hold the rotor on, your wheel ends up holding your rotor in place. Sometimes I dont put the screws back because they can become a pain to remove especially if you dont have an impact driver.
I dont know anything about DBA issues/bulletins but its fairly common for a brake pulsation to only show up or get much worse when the brakes get hot. Its just because the rotor expands and compounds any variances in the rotor.
Like MP2k advised if the rotor mounting surface isnt true it doesnt matter how true the rotor is there will be a vibration.

I had a similar experience on the dragon. Seemed that after a few minutes things got hot and I would get a significant vibration that appeared to be coming from the rear of the car. Didnt feel anything through the steering wheel. Maybe my calipers are seizing i dunno?

According to Stoptech, warped disks are a myth.
