Default Brakes Not Grabbing w/ Spoon Calipers

I have an AP2 w/ 01Rs on the following brake mods:

Spoon calipers
Stoptech brake lines
Axis Ultimate pads (front)
OEM rotors
ATE blue

I just got back from an auto-x & noticed that the brakes don't grab as hard as the OEM brakes. It feels like its giving 75% braking capability. The pedal feels fine, not mushy at all. I had an instructor drive the car & he noticed the lack of brakes as well. Anyone experience this? I'm going to re-bleed the brakes & change over to the OEM pads. Any help is appreciated.

it might have been the pads not being warm enough? maybe too warm? I'm not too familiar with the Axis Ultimates.

The brakes felt weak from the beginning to the end of the event.

i would re-bleed, then check the pads for irregular wear, and make sure the calipers are in good shape. perhaps a pad swap is in your future....

I put in the new pads on used OEM rotors (no resurface) when the calipers were installed. I'm thinking this might be the culprit. I'll have the OEM rotors resurfaced & replace the pads to OEM.
I would be leaning towards this being the problem also. Resurfacing needs to be done to remove the brake material from the previous pads. Then do the bed-in procedure for the new ones.

Did you bed in the pads right after the install?

I was told to always bed in pads after you swap them out. I did that with my Hawk HPS pads and they were great from the get go. Hope it works out for you
