Brakes or Hub?

Not Brakes but Hub?
Last week I pulled over because the S2000 came to a stop by itself while doing 5 mph. The wheel was emitting heat, so I let it cool.
I did some research and assumed it was the caliper. While waiting for the part to come in, I spun the rotor without the caliper on it and the rotor did a 180 and stopped. I didn’t think that was normal, so I removed the other wheel and spun it, and the rotor did a few 360s. I probably should have noticed that before ordering the caliper, but I thought a bad wheel bearing or hub makes noise and/or moves when you tug on the wheel (up and down).
I installed the new caliper and it does the same thing it did before.... darn it.
I think it is the wheel bearing, but wanted to make sure.
Thank you for the help, guys!

Front or rear? If you spun the rotor with the caliper off and it only went 180 degrees that's definitely not the caliper or rotor. With the caliper off did you try twisting the rotor up and down? If you have a bad wheel bearing you may be able to feel the play in it. Rear wheel bearings are not great....
