Default brake questions

hey everyone i have an 06 s2k, and last year i remember one time when i braked really hard and it felt like my engine was shaking really bad like my engine was going to fall apart, like something was grinding really bad and than today it happened stopping going down hill and than on the way home as i was pulling into the gas station it happened again! i replaced my front brake pads about 3,000 miles ago, replaced with oem and installed them myself does anyone know why i get this when i brake hard?

Does it 'ONLY' happen when you hit the brakes?

Does it happen every time you hit the brakes? Only when you hit them very hard?

It almost sounds like you are actually describing stalling the engine by letting the revs get too low, rather than any problem with the brakes themselves

Yeah, if he doesn't know what ABS feels like, it could be that too. Seriously, there is way, way, way too little information here to really make a good guess.

Try it with the clutch pedal press.

1 - did you install the brake pads correctly?

if yes,

2 - do you know what abs feels like?

if no,

3 - it's your abs.

Maybe try to take all the pad out and switch from right to left. Don't forget to mark them when take it out.
