brake pedal freeplay
i seem to have about an inch of pedal movement before i feel any resistance, contact between pads and rotor.the brakes have been bleed twice once before mods. and again afterwards.mods.hawks hps pads, and goodridge ss lines.

honda bleed the brakes the first time under warrenty, brakes felt the same after service.the second time the brakes were bleed by the shop that installed the ss lines .the brakes feel a little firmer with the ss lines, but freeplay is still to great.the brakes don't pump up so there is no air in the system.

Not sure how the S2k brakes work but i know theres a set screw on some calipers that adjust how far back in the piston is allowed to travel. If this is too lose the piston will set too far back and give you that extra inch of movement. If thats not the case then re-bleed the lines to check for air..... i actually just got done today installing the same setup in a miata and the brake pedal had a gap like your talking about and a little bit of a soft pedal, it was fixed by re-bleeding the brakes.
