AEM brakes...I don't know. I know their "big brake" kit sucks a fat one. Maybe their pads are better??
I used carbotech P+ pads at pahrump. Pahrump isn't very hard on the brakes and I think the stock pads would have held up fine. I think the stock pads would have worked well on this track. I used stock fluid as well (and I'm still using it - very lazy).
I notice you have 18" wheels in your sig. I hope you race on smaller wheels (like your stockers). If that's the case, I would spend that money on tires rather than pads. Tires cost alot more but will make more of a difference if you ask me.

Miniboost, I sold the stock wheels/tires after the turbo install -- for exactly the reason TwoHoos cites. With all that horsepower, wheel slip was just an inattentive jab away. As for brake pads, for $200, I'd rather be safe than, well, cooked and walled. :-)

Hawk Blues stop the S2000 like nothing else I have felt - with stock rotors and Motul fluid. Ducting is also a key factor in my mind as well.
Contact King Motorsports, as Clark mentioned, they will hook you up with some "redesigned" delSol pads.
Most I have seen will "clank" around a bit inside the caliper so don't be alarmed if they don't fit just right.
I use the Hawk HPS on the street and it is also a good pad for that application.

This is helpful. Thank you. Based on the above, here's what I hear people saying:
LIGHT TRACK USE / SPRIRITED STREET DRIVING:
Porterfield R4S
Brakeman #3 (rotor friendly; group buy)
Hawk HPS
Carbotech Panther
HEAVIER TRACK DRIVING:
Porterfield R4s
Carbotech Panther Plus
Hawk Blues (possibly hard on rotors; available from King).
Any comments on the above list or how to rank order the different pads? What about cost and vendors?

Hey Ray, you might be right. I mean after LS and one other track day the center of the rears delaminated on me with only about 7K miles on them.
How did my wheelbarrow tires look from the rear at LS ?

LOL ...... they looked great kicking up all that dirt through the corkscrew:
In an effort to keep this thread on subject, the Hawk Blues looked good busting past me too
