Brake Pads
Hey guys I need to change my Pads on my S2. But i wanted to know what pads do you think is better.
For the same price i can get the OEM Pads or these
GranSport 6 Pads.

Also the Dealer said i sould change the Brake Fluid Im at 36XXX miles do i really need to change it?

OEM no noise. very dusty
Carbotech brakes much much better but squeals alot. dusty too.
Hawks hps just a bit better than oem. some squeals very dusty
no exp. on others.
Brake fluid rec. to replace every 3 yrs per honda. i replace mine twice a yr with ATE

carbotech's are dusty, mine haven't squealed all that much. i wouldn't use them for the street though, there's no need. just get oem ap1 pads and you'll be good to go.

not as dusty as OEM pads IMO , your Carbotech's haven't squeal because they sees tracks only, if you use it for street it would squeal. I ran xp10 and xp8 at the track, sometimes i don't get time to switch them back for a week or so. yes it will squeal on street. Just can't beat the stopping power of those pads.

that would make sense, except i don't track my car. i didn't say they don't squeal at all, just that my experience has been that they haven't squealed as much as some people would indicate.
your AP2 pads - very dusty
AP1 formulation is nowhere near as dusty, lots of people will tell you this.
