Default Brake Pads

Do the 2000-2003 brake pads have a different part number than the 2004? I have read allot of discussion on this and would prefer the least dust possible. If there is a difference in the numbers what are they? Can I still get the older pads?

They are interchangeable, so does it really matter? AP2 pads are slightly more grippy and that's it.

What a shame. Different part numbers but they are the SAME part.
