Hi All
I just bought some EBC red stuff rear pads for the S2000 by mail order. When I got them out the box this morning ready to put on the car I noticed that only one of the piston side pads had that little springy clip thing on. It was missing on the other. Anyone know what this is for and if it will cause a big issue if I dont have it on one side? Old pads are completely runined after a track day so going to be a right pain having to leave up on stands whilst I mail them back and wait for replacements to be sent.
Thanks

Do you mean this?
Its just a wear indicator.
Pad wears, steel touches rotor, lots of noise, you change pad.
As long as the little pin is there, that needs to fit into the slot of the piston.
