Default brake pad help??!!

ok i am going to need some new front pads soon. i have spoon in there now and like them but don't feel like spending crazy money on another set if i did i would go with the endless. i am looking for a pad that is good with the stock rotor and will give me GREAT stopping power on the street and good stopping power for the track. please list any choices and where i can get them.

I use the Panther+ pads on the track but think the R4S pads are better suited for regular street use.

A lot of racers use the Hawk pads, and the Porterfield pads are also good (R4, R4S).

I recommend Cobalt Friction pads. They are a local company (Ft. Lauderdale) run by a nice guy (Andie Lin). They have a new design (GT-Plus) for the S2000 that is excellent for street and autocross, plus their GT-Sport pads are very good entry-level track pads, much like the Panther+ is. Beware, that these track-oriented pads will dust a lot more than the street pads do.

Here's the link: http://cobaltfriction.com/prod_catalog/cob...pads-cobalt.htm

I have heard good things about Porterfield. Porterfield will be my #1 choice when I purchase my next set of pads (R4S).

While decent (though dusty) for the street and autocross, I've had problems with R4S pads crumbling apart during track events - once I got good enough to really get on the brakes.

Axxis Ultimates are a great choice for street and light track. Much less expensive then the rest too.
