Default Brake noise but pads still have a lot of meat

Hey guys, the drivers side rear brakes on my car started making noises whenever nearing stop. The pads still seem to have a lot of meat (the other side has no problems whatsoever). I noticed on the rotor that a portion is not wearing. Anyone have any ideas? My car was in a minor accident before where that wheel hit a curb but supposedly everything was repaired and it drove fine for a year after. You guys think that the caliper is misaligned or something? Here are some pics:

I just noticed that in the last pic, the top part of the rotor shows rust where I'm assuming its not getting any contact from the pad, but on the bottom of the rotor there seems to be no rust. Do you guys think it might just be some really bad rust that the pads can't create friction with? This would be the best scenario for me as all I'd have to do is replace/resurface my rotor. Thanks guys, any ideas are appreciated!

The squealer is on the inside pad (OEM pads) Pull the wheel and look at the inside pad.

Do I need to remove the caliper? I believe the side causing the noise is the outside pad due to the marks visible on the rotor?

so pull the pads and see what they look like. no, you don't have to "remove" the caliper, you just have to pull the carrier portion of it off. that is strange looking though, must be something weird going on with that outboard pad. hmmm

Looks like you broke a pad or got some serious debris in there. I'd rotate the caliper and inspect the pads.
