Default Brake Master Cyl. seeping

MY 2001. Safety inspection found some seepage of brake fluid below the master brake cylinder where it mates to the booster. Very light but enough to take some paint off the booster when I rubbed on it. Just upgraded to DOT 4 fluid during annual flush 30 days ago. Also added new slotted rotors, Hawk pads and braided lines also. Braking action is way better. No evidence of any air in the system and brake fluid reservoir is full. I did splash a little fluid while keeping the reservoir topped up during the flush. Any ideas on confirming a leak short of pulling the Master cylinder.?

You sure it's the master seeping and not just fluid that ran down the master when topping off?

sounds like you would just monitor your brake fluid level...if still full after 3 years, i'd say you're good to go.

Update- I gave up, and had the dealership fix it. They said they drained the entire system, and replaced the fluid.

Thanks for all of the help!

Dealership? You are lucky they didn't say you needed a new abs module or all new calipers.

For good reason called stealership.

Don't make the mistake of thinking dealer has any special abilities or insights on working on these cars. They're clueless. Worse, they think they are the only authority and impossible to make any mistakes. So when they inevitably screw something up, its always your fault, and they'll charge even more to fix their mistakes.
