Did my coilovers today. My trunk is stripped and I had alot of stuff in there. My passenger tailight went out but my brake lights still worked. I took it out and switched with the other one. Now they both dont work. Put them both back in and when the brake is depressed they work. However running they are not lit. My battery is also pretty much fried after 12 years. Not sure if that makes a difference. Filaments do not appear to be broken. I came from VW with massive wiring headaches, where do I start here.

Rear running lights is fuse labels small light under the dash try that

Turn on running lights, check for power at sockets with test light.

If no power, check fuses.
