Something to do on a rainy Sunday afternoon:

You start with new pads and rotors on all four corners, the reservoir is at the max level mark.
For whatever reason all pads wear down to the metal (or just enough material left to actually brake) and all the rotors wear to the service limit.
Would you still have enough brake fluid in the reservoir?

If a simple man like me can think of this I surely hope Honda did.
And not just thought of it but made sure the brakes kept working.

Check your pad wear and fill the master cylinder. If you lose fluid quickly you have a leak. If you can't find a leak under the car check your booster because a blown master cylinder seal can allow it to leak into the booster.

From what I've personally seen the fluid can get low enough for the brake light to come on, furthermore it gets worse with really old fluid because it has absorbed so much water that the heat will cause it to evaporate, not to mention some of the fluid solidifying into a sludge as it wears down the seals and rubber in the lines.
