brake and clutch fluids
what color are the brake and clutch fluid from honda? i have 35k miles on my car and i was checkin to see if the clutch fluid was dirty and if it was needed to be replaced...both the fluids look brownish to me but i dunno if they were brown in the first place or not...i am goin to flush my brake fluid when replacing my brakes pads but i'm not sure about the clutch yet...i have a bottle of brake fluid thats not honda's OEM fluid but that one is clear colored...
thanks in advance

Brake and clutch fluid is generally clear. The OEM fluid started off clear. It gets dark with time, heat and use. Don't let the color of the fluid make you thinks it's no good. If you really want to know, have it tested.
This type of fluid sucks up moisture and should be changed annually, but I live in a very dry climate and mine checked out OK even after 2 years.
You will find that brand new fluid will go dark within a matter of days or weeks.
