Default Brake bleeding w/ Electronic brake assist?

I have the Honda FSM from 2000-2003, which states that you should do front left, front right, rear right, rear left...but is this procedure any different for the 06+ with the brake assist? Anyone with a 06-08 FSM? Thanks.

All s2000s have the same vacuum actuated brake assist. I recently bled my car with the above order and theres no problems. I can probably do the old school method of RR, LR, RF, LF and there would be no problems either. It's all up to the individual doing the work if they know how to do it properly so air doesn't get in.

The 06's and up received the electronic assist, which electronically adds more brake pressure and holds it longer than the driver actually does. The ABS module would have to be different too because of the VSA, which actuates individual calipers without any pedal pressure.

So, do they changes mean anything? All I know is I bled mine three times, and couldn't achieve the same pedal feel that the car originally came with.

I don't see anywhere on the Honda website that mentions electronic assist. Show me where you read that? The changes shouldn't change anything regarding to bleeding order. You're not bleeding it right.

I was never arguing with you about it having a different ABS. You are saying that 06+ has an electronic brake assist, which they dont. They all have the same vacuum brake assist.

Let's make sure we're arguing about the samething here. Brake assist = helping the driver apply more brake force with less effort. Hence the vacuum brake booster under the hood, with a vacuum line going into the manifold.

Theres nothing in your above post with all the copy-paste that says theres an electronic brake assist. Anyways the point is, the brake system in the s2k isn't a complex system. You should have no trouble with it if you are bleeding it correctly. Maybe you are bleeding it correctly and there is actually a problem with the brake system. But I highly doubt it since it was fine before you bled it.

You're incorrect. Mash your brakes and lift partially, you'll feel it.
