The car has always had this oil consumption with Mobil-1.
Dino oil (for the first 9K miles) was less than a quart every 3,500 miles.
AP1's tend to be a bit thirsty in regards to oil. Mine tends to be a bit thirsty.

The duration of service and mileage on that oil is nothing to worry about. I think you're way more worried than you need to be. Assuming you used the PCX filter you will, again, be just fine. Honda even skips the filter changes if you look at some of their recommended service intervals. So if you were following your service by the book, you'd be running the filter for about 14k miles.

i go 4,000 miles plus or minus between changes of fluid and filter...never any oil use, not a drop that i can see. oil is usually black as can be, i have done almost all of the changes except two which i had dealers do. i use chevron from costco and honda filters. that much oil use cannot be normal...i have a 99 volvo 2.3 turbo that goes through abotu a quart every 1500 miles and this car has 87,000 miles on it, that i can see, but a newer car with no turbo with that much consumption just seems excessive, sorry.

There are plenty of great dino oils out there. I wouldn't be afraid to use any of them and safely run the car to 5k OCIs. Maxlife is a good place to start, but any SM/GF-4 dino is going to do well.

Considering Honda's very liberal recommendations, I don't think you have anything to worry about.
I changed break-in oil at 5775 of which 4500 was Interstate driving. No oil consumption at all to this date. Dino oil will be run till 10,000 at which time I'm switching to Mobil-1 and regular 4,000 mile oil changes thereafter.

I think half of you are on something. Damn, dudes, Honda's recommendation is 7500 miles or 12 month and that's for dino oil. Do I change more often than that? Sure. Every 5K with synthetic.
I'm sure the car is fine at 11 months and 7200 miles on synthetic.

That's alot of oil consumption
I use mobil-1, and only add a quart between oil changes every 3k.
Personally, the best oil I have used is Royal Purple, but only 2 places I have gone to carry it.
So its mobil-1 for me and honda filters.
Good luck and enjoy the ride
btw, my S has almost 92k on it

That's way too much oil consumption, I've heard bad things about Mobil 1, but that tops the list...freakin 7.5 quarts, geez...mine doesn't use *anywhere near* that much oil, but I use Royal Purple. I lose maybe a quart between 4k changes.
