"Bouncing" pinging/thud noise when cornering hard
#14
Thanks guys for your insight.
Yesterday
My dealer quickly tighetened my left rear axle nut, it wouldn't tighten any more until he passed 250 mark. So it seems like it was already tight enough. he went ahead and tightened to around 300.
then today
I lifted the car up and shook the muffler hard and it seems "factory" loose and not loose loose. i don't know how else to say it.
But i do think it is something that is hitting something when i corner hard.
I also shook the hell out of the wheel when lifted and it did not have any play, but i'm not that strong. Only the car shook.
I have matching set Goodyear Eagle RSA1 up front with 220 treadwear and matching Mastercraft 440 treadwear rear. I have about 40-50% treadwear left on both.
So while the car was jacked up for inspection, i sprayed silicone lube on all the suspesion arm joints that i can see. Maybe a bushing or something is just dirty and rough.
What does "OP" mean?
Ultimately we won't know and i thank you guys for giving me suggestions. I pretty much have to place a camera to record underneath my car and have a mechanic ride with me to figure this one out.
