Bought an S, Couple things need fixing
Ok so I bought a 2004 s2k that was previously turbocharged, but the car was restored to NA when I bought it. Now I'm just working out the kinks and could use a little help. First off the VTEC solenoid only has one wire (Green-White) going to it and after undoing some electrical tape I've found two wires, one blue, one brown, that were soldered and a ground wire (not connected to anything). http://imgur.com/a/MNw3L here's a picture of what I'm talking about. I think this is from being turbo'd and having an AEM ecu?
Also when I hangout in VTEC for about 30 seconds it hits a fuel cutoff, feels like hitting a redline limiter right at 6,000 rpm. I think this solenoid wiring or a weird tune may be why that's happening. I am not low on oil when this happens.
Second there are some vacuum lines missing.. I think. I'm not sure what goes to the cylinder thats behind the engine block, next to the oil filler cap but there is something missing. Same deal with two, what look like vacuum lines next to my throttle cable. http://imgur.com/a/MNw3L picture here. The car idles fine. so If anyone has an engine schematic or is willing to go look at their car and see where I need to route the vacuum lines, if that's what's missing, that would be awesome.
