- check if transmission pops out of gear
- check timing chain
- check compression
- retorque lugnuts 80
- alignment

Diff/transmission fluid will be fine but change if you wish.
Brake fluid should be changed every 3 years so ready now.
Cabin filter will be fine as its hardly been used.
Clutch fluid ,might aswell seeing as though your doing the brakes too.
Throttle cable will be a good check, bet it's loose.
Lube shifter? if it shifts then leave it alone.
What makes you think it will pop out of gear?
If it doesnt rattle like a card in bike spokes then timing chain/tensioner is fine. Its self maintaining.
Compression will be fine on that mileage but check if you want.
Re-torque lugnuts? Not sure what you mean by that but if your referring to the rear hubnuts then buy new nuts and replace and re-torue to 220ft/lbs not 80, however on that mileage they will be fine.
alignment is always worth doing.

Nice one in picking up such a low miler.

I would change EVERY fluid & filter from front to rear. That will give you a good baseline for future service.I use Amsoil on all my cars and happen to be an Amsoil dealer.

I might can save you some money on these products.email me if interested.

I think you got most of it. I doubt the clutch or brake fluid need changing, but it is worth a good bit of peace of mind as well as having a starting point for all future refreshes. Great find and have fund!

I also just bought a 2005 S2000 last week, except I'm at 45k miles. Nice finding one with 13k, that's awesome! Here is my to-do list for the next few weeks:

- Replace engine oil and filter (Amsoil)
- Replace transmission fluid (Amsoil)
- Replace rear diff fluid (Amsoil)
- Replace squealing race brake pads with OEM pads
- Install speed bleeders
- Replace brake fluid
- Replace clutch fluid
- Replace cabin microfilter

The stock air filter still looks great, I just blew it off with my air compressor. I also adjusted my throttle cable last night, it had like 0.25" of play in it. Pretty crazy.

My purchase was a yellow '05 with 14,491 miles last summer.

Yes, replace ALL fluids ... including the diff and tranny. Shifting will improve with the tranny fluid and my diff fluid was ghastly at 15,000 miles ... despite being gently driven by a woman in her 50s.

In my service manual it states the coolant is 120K/10 years.

Still, it can't hurt to do it. My MY02 is using the original coolant AFAIK, and I have 72K. All other fluids have been done pretty much on schedule.

Tranny fluid is also listed as 120K/8 years, though I'm about to change it for the 2nd time.
