I want to swap driver & passenger bottom seat, i know that the base of the seats have brace on the outside and i want to only swap the foam & leather, it is possible to do it, do i need to cut the foam to fit the brace?

I had mine apart recently to rebuild the outside bolster and it did not look like the foam could easily be swapped without damage.

I do today, all you have to do is cut a small slut to fit the brace, very easy to do, i have now a brand new driver seat! I was very careful when i enter/exit but the seat at 85 000km is damaged, very good upgrade to do and save lots of $ from the stealers... oups, the dealers!!!

Yes, this can be done fairly easily. Cutting a slit for the brace is the only real concern.'

A DIY would have been nice.

I wanted to know the same thing. Can the leather be interchanged from passenger to driver? Or did you just swap the cushion?

Leather and cushion, VERY EASY JOB, only small slot for the brace, i re-use all clamps!!!
